JKSB adopts a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of bribery and corruption and acts fairly, professionally and with integrity in all its dealings and relationships.
JKSB complies with anti-bribery standards and regulations by:
- Ensuring compliance with anti-bribery laws including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 and its amendments and other relevant laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Implementing and enforcing effective policies and procedures to prevent, monitor and eliminate bribery and corruption among employees and in activities with stakeholders and business associates.
- Establishing and continually improving the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS).
- Maintaining a business environment free of bribery and corruption and ensuring anti-bribery principles in all business dealings and interactions.
- Assigning the Integrity, Governance and Risk Department to oversee the Governance, Compliance & Ethics Programme and ABMS, with direct access to the Board and Management on issues of bribery and corruption.
- Providing channels for employees and the public to report suspected corruption or improper conduct under the JKSB Whistleblowing Policy and procedures.
- Taking disciplinary or legal action against any non-compliance with this policy.
