Corporate Social Responsibility

Through CSR pillars Sinar Insan, Sinar Alam, Sinar Ilmu, and Sinar Sejahtera, JKSB supports vision care, education for underprivileged students, and environmental conservation, creating meaningful impact and strengthening community ties.

At Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd (JKSB), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is more than a corporate commitment, it is a deliberate effort to give back and create lasting value for the community we serve. CSR refers to activities undertaken by a business with the primary objective of benefiting the society in which it operates or specific groups and communities within that society. 

Guided by this purpose, JKSB embraces four key pillars; Sinar Insan, Sinar Alam, Sinar Ilmu, and Sinar Sejahtera, to design and implement meaningful programmes. These initiatives include supporting underprivileged families and community events, promoting environmental conservation, fostering innovative learning opportunities, and advancing public health and road safety.

PILLAR OF COMMUNITY

Focuses on supporting underprivileged families and strengthening community ties through initiatives such as free tuition classes, food aid, visits to nursing homes, Merdeka celebrations and other community engagement programs.

PILLAR OF WELL-BEING

Under the Pillar of Well-Being, a variety of programs based on health and public safety are implemented to enhance community well-being and create a safer travel environment. These initiatives include medical check-ups, wellness campaigns and educational programs that emphasise road safety awareness, responsible driving practices, adherence to traffic regulations and proper use of safety equipment.

PILLAR OF EDUCATION

Supports education and fosters creativity through innovative learning initiatives such as robotics programs, technology workshops and skill building activities for students and the community.
