The Green Apple Award 2013
The Second Penang Bridge has been awarded with The Green Apple Award 2013 for the Built Environment and Architectural Heritage from The Green Organization, UK. Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd is also entitled to be the Green Apple Ambassador for the year 2014.

The Second Penang Bridge Project received the prestigious Road Engineering Excellence Award 2014 from the Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM) on 10 November 2014.
